The invitation came following our presentation to an audience hosted by the Dallas Business Journal in July.  “You are welcome to come and have a look at our showroom and offices”, said John Moyer, Vice President, Strategic Accounts.

After touring British Columbia, Colorado and Houston, we were able to make it to Coppell, Texas for a most inspiring tour of the VARIDESK®Headquarters, escorted by John Moyer, and Emily Gros, Strategic Accounts Manager.

We were immediately taken by the attention to detail from the time we walked in the door, the warmth of the welcome from the receptionist, the efficient tablet based check in process (the tablet auto populated our email addresses when we entered our names – pretty cool) to stepping into the foyer, which resembled a high-end inner urban coffee shop.  We later found out that this is the entrance all the staff use, providing a great opportunity for people at all levels to mingle and interact with each other.

In yet another example of attention to detail, shortly into our tour, we glanced up at a large monitor suspended from the ceiling to see the message “VARIDESK® welcomes Natural Habits, LLC”.

In our business, we talk a lot about corporate culture and we encounter a lot of businesses concerned about this topic but rarely is corporate culture showcased at its best, the way it is at VARIDESK®. “Our home away from home” is how one person described it.

The notion that creating great employees builds great companies is very clearly on show here.  Every effort is taken to look after the welfare and comfort of everyone who works and visits the place.

It is very clear to see why VARIDESK® Founders CEO Jason McCann and Chairman Dan Flaherty were named EY 2017 U.S. Entrepreneurs Of The Year.  This is a company that clearly understands its purpose.  Their product might be office furniture, but they are selling the health and wellbeing of people in a workspace.

Visiting VARIDESK® was a truly inspirational experience and an example to any other businesses who are struggling with the issue of communication difficulties through out their organizations.
