At Natural Habits, we often talk about the power of small things: gestures, comments, or actions which can make an impact.
We saw another example of this yesterday at the poultry counter in our local supermarket. A “please”, a “thank you” and a smile from Linda provoked the attendant on the other side of the counter to remark, “I wish everyone spoke to me like that”.
Have we, as a society become so self-absorbed and swamped by external pressures, that we have lost sight of communicating to others with respect and dignity?
Let’s remember to treat others as we would like to be treated.
